How to Needle Felt a Suri Alpaca

Here’s a fun tutorial on how to needle felt a Suri alpaca! This one is great for a beginner felter who loves alpacas.

Materials:

Core wool about 0.32 ounces,

washed Suri alpaca fleece/locks 0.18 ounces,

fawn roving or other color to cover face for smoother finish, brown roving or other color for ears,

pinch of pink for inside the ears,

pinch of black for eyes and nose
